Box for outlet or switch too close to trim? Cut the cover plate to fit!

If you have a device box that is mounted too close to the trim or mounted on the side of a board, the cover plate won’t fit because it needs room outside the boundary of the box. In this video I’ll show you how to trim a plastic cover plate so it fits and looks good.
